Is Coconut Oil The Ultimate Fat Burner For Weight Loss?

Is Coconut Oil The Ultimate Fat Burner For Weight Loss?

When I worked in the fitness industry, the number of people who ask me questions about fat burning and fat blocking products was amazing (high caffeine and guarana think). They speed up your metabolism which usually come with side effects long term. The reason is that they raise the heart rate which will eventually increase cortisol levels. If you know anything about cortisol, then you will understand that this prompts the body to hold onto body fat (hint: I think this is why people under stress have trouble losing weight).

Why coconut oil for weight loss?Without seeking technical, coconut oil is a saturated fatty acid that is mainly MCT oil (medium chain triglycerides). This is quite different from most vegetable oils in the marketplace today.Fatty acids of short and medium chain that can be found in coconut oil (and grass fed butter that I use also) are sent directly to our liver and used directly for energy. So, this means:

1. It is not stored in fat cells as readily as fatty acids, long-chain and produce ketones which gives us a constant source of energy.
2. Improves thermogenesis which increases fat burning.
3. Helps eliminate cravings increased feelings of satiety.

According to the book Christine Cronau Fat Revolution, there are studies of participants who were fed the same diet that was not designed for weight loss. But some of them were fed medium-chain fatty acids and they lost weight, while the weight in the rest of the group remained the same.He also compared the diets with three types of fat intake. Low fat, monounsaturated fat and coconut oil. There was a 60% reduction in fat storage for groups consuming coconut oil.

So what's the Magic dosage ?If you do not consume natural fats, including coconut oil, start in small quantities or toilet can call coming . Add a teaspoon in a smoothie, or a sugar craving comes calling eat a teaspoon straight from the jar , because it will kill the mood. Cook with it or just start adding things that you normally would not. I have a high fat smoothie almost every morning.I consume up to 3-4 tablespoons of coconut oil per day soup. But I eat a diet low in carbohydrates and high in natural fats, especially after my DNA results back.So if you are on a weight loss plan, eliminate sugar, grains, soybeans and all fats and processed oils. Increase your coconut oil to 2-4 tablespoons per day for your stable source of energy and over time, you will feel the magic!Do you use coconut oil? Are you worried about saturated fat ? Are you a plan for weight loss, but are afraid of fat? Would love to hear your thoughts ...
