Females Need To Control Their Metabolism To Lose Weight
Losing weight is usually not an easy task. In fact it is difficult most of the time. Women may even have a harder time dropping off the pounds. This is because women have a different hormonal makeup then men. It's actually more complex.
If you are a female that is
depressed, weight loss can be very difficult. Not only will you seek
comfort food because of your hormones they will also tell your
metabolism to store the fat as well. This is a very bad situation to be
in. Always hungry trying to fight the urges, and when you do eat your
body stores it all. I am not telling you to lose your depression over
night because your can't. If you could you would have already. Chances
are you are depressed because you are over weight anyhow, knowingly or
not. This is a vicious cycle to be in but I will show you how to be free
of this.
Another issue can be lack of sleep, unlike depression
where one may tend to sleep more than acquired by your body. Basically a
balanced life style is the best environment for weight loss. This is
not always achievable due to busy life styles. This is not the only
factor, there are women with balanced lifestyles that are over weight as
well. Stress which most of us have is also another factor that is
controlling your hormones in a negative fashion towards weight loss.
Are
you craving foods especially late at night? Do you find it difficult to
stick to a diet? Are you overweight after following through with a diet
plan?
These are signs that you may have an issue with your
leptin! Leptin is a hormone that controls many factors of weight loss.
It tells your metabolism to either burn fat or store fat. It controls
your appetite. This is released through your fat cells. So the more fat
tissue the higher levels of leptin. High levels of leptin is not bad in
its self. You actually want hight levels of leptin. The problem comes in
when you develop leptin resistance. This is when leptin is not able to
produce its weight loss effects. Your body will go into starvation mode
storing as much fat as possible.
One of the best natural remedies
is to eat real food. What I mean by this is to stay away from foods that
are highly processed. The food will be the MAIN or ONLY ingredient.
Also a big one to stay away from is high-fructose corn syrup. This
heavily processed food has been linked to many metabolic dysfunctions in
over weight or obese people.
Leptin Resistance is not a permanent
hormonal problem. It can be fixed with correcting your diet, not merely
cutting back collieries. That will lower your levels of leptin
altogether slowing down your metabolism. Take note of this and practice
what you have just read. Remember, once you control your metabolism you
control your weight. All you need is to know how to control it. With
that knowledge in hand you will have success in burning that excess fat.
