The Fast Lane to Burning Body Fat
Burning body fat is just part of the process of getting in shape, if you are going to commit to improving your looks and your life there are several things you must change. Habits are hard to get rid of, but with time, effort and patience it can be done. Burning body fat is not just a matter of good looks, but of regaining your health and self esteem. The main goal should not be simply to lose weight it should be to improve your way of life. Getting rid of body fat is easy but it tales determination and constant efforts and changes in life style.
Saying
it is easy may seem to you as a contradiction because there are so many
people who fail, so many different diets and programs that promise
success and only frustrate you when you fail. Every day we see people
starving to death or eating strange things during their meals, taking
pills to reduce their hunger and supposedly energize them and the bottom
line is that they never get where they want to go or even worse they
end up weighing more than they did when they started the diet or program
they are on. To burn body fat easily and constantly all you have to do
make an effort to change your way of life.
The first thing to keep
in mind is that you do not need to starve and relinquish all the food
you like. Eliminating carbohydrates, fat, sugar and everything else
experts recommend is not going to work. It is absurd to pretend to stay
healthy and lose weight by eating vegetables all day and night, doing
this will only stress you out and make you feel uncomfortable and even
weak in extreme cases. Your body burns fat naturally every day, all you
have to do is help it along by providing it with the right food in the
right amounts.
To burn fat your body needs to be active and in
movement, metabolism must be increased and maintained permanently in
action. The body turns everything it ingests into glucose which is used
to produce energy. Every time you move a finger, you breathe or you
close your eyes, glucose is burned as energy. The body needs energy
constantly and the secret of burning body fat is to make it burn faster
and more often than it normally does now. A diet will not do this, a
diet will burn some of the stored fat to compensate for less calorie
intake for some time but after a while your body will adapt to the new
calorie intake and will stop burning its fat reserves.
The only
way to get your metabolism going again is to accelerate your heartbeat.
This does not mean killing yourself or suffering from a stroke in the
middle of the gym, it means exercise a little every day. The best way to
start, if you have not done any exercise in ages, is simply to walk.
Walk in the park, the mall, in your neighborhood, it does not matter
where, just do it. Start with half an hour per day and gradually move up
to one hour. You cannot do it every day, fine, do it every other day.
Just by doing this you will notice the difference. You will have more
energy, you will sleep better and the fat will start to dissolve.
Start
changing your eating habits, forget about fast food, canned and
preserved foods. Go natural, go fresh. Include in your daily food intake
lots of fiber and protein, it does not matter if it is animal or
vegetable protein, your body needs it to build muscles and make them
lean and strong. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruit, these have vitamins
and minerals you need to stay healthy and strong. Eat slowly, enjoy
your food and taste every bit of it chewing each mouthful slowly and
thoroughly.
Eating three plates of salad instead of a burger and fries
will not help, do not eat until you are completely full, eat until you
are not hungry anymore. Your body has alarms that tell your brain it has
received enough, pay attention to them and eat reasonably. A neat trick
is to drink one or two glasses of water ten to fifteen minutes before a
meal, this will fool your brain into believing you have already eaten
something and the alarms will go off before you are actually full. This
water will also make your digestion easier and faster.
Drink
plenty of water, all day, every day. Most of your body is made out of
water and it is necessary to stay healthy. Water is used to replenish
blood, to digest food, to get rid of waste, to liberate and eliminate
fat and toxins from the cells, it is used in almost every process in the
body, keeping your body's water reserves always full accelerates the
fat burning process and helps your metabolism eliminate waste and
unwanted toxins from your body. Like I said before burning body fat is
easy, it is a matter of organization and determination. All you need to
do is to eat any kind of natural, fresh food you want reasonably,
exercise for at least half an hour everyday if possible, get plenty of
rest and keep your spirits high. Remember this is a process, it will not
happen overnight but you will see the changes in your body almost
immediately. The most important thing to remember is to stay on it, the
weight and body fat will come off and in this case will stay off.
