Who would want to lose weight without dieting ?

Who would want to lose weight without dieting?

Of course we would all like to lose weight without dieting ?But is it really possible?

I think at some point we all have asked this question and searched and hoped for the magic answer .First, let me say that the answer is not magic.

And second , let me share my definition of "diet" and "diet."

I think when we ask , "Is it possible to lose weight without dieting ? " What we are asking is really" how can I lose weight without deny myself the pleasure of food that I really like?"

In this sense, "diet" refers to a specific form of foods with dietary restrictions. With the Atkins diet, the number of carbohydrates you eat are limited. Weight Watchers , the number of calories in a day is limited. With the " HCG " , calories and nutrition in general are limited!

While this is a definition of "diet." But in another sense the term "diet" is generally used to describe the way we eat. The "Superbowl weekend, I am a strict pizza, chicken wings and Food beer!" Another example, in my case , would be " I am a well-balanced diet of high nutrition. "No food is limited on Superbowl weekend (ok, maybe not tofu or sprouts ... ) and even food is absolutely taboo the way I eat is (again , in except tofu and sprouts !).

In my case, I learned to eat in a way that allows me to replace meals I care very little (especially breakfast and lunch ) with an inexpensive, easy to prepare and high nutritional alternative. This leaves me free to enjoy the odd pizza , pastry and hamburger and these rich and tasty dinners that I love so much ! By doing this , I have a "diet" that allows me to lose weight without dieting.

I know that we all have fallen in part for , or at least wanted to believe , that there is some "secret trick" to weight loss :

"This simple exercise will give you six pack abs with only 2 minutes a day!""The weight loss secret base plants your doctor talk to you !""Eat this simple food and never a new regime !"

The truth of the matter is , your body is a complex machine and no mechanism that operates in a vacuum . With the human body, it's more like: "most of the time" if you do this, then it will happen. But this can only happen if you also did "other thing" too. Most current systems work on the principle that if you simply burn more calories than you consume, you will lose weight. On the surface, that makes sense , and that is why most of us buy into this logic. But if this were true, and calories in, calories were the only factors of weight loss, so why is that 80-95 % of diets fail in a year?

Here's an interesting story from my own experience. When I was in my early 20s, I volunteered for 3 months in Guyana, South America.

During these five weeks, we were in the rainforest and the only food we had was: a big bag of rice, a large bag of flour, and a large bag of chickpeas. We also had yeast, salt, and a few other small items. But the bottom line is, we basically had no carbohydrates proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals. At the end of five weeks, all the men in our group turned to the stick figures so emaciated that all women gained weight and plumped right!

We all ate the same thing. We all did the same job. We all had the same amount of sleep. The only difference was our sex.

Because we have different hormones working in us, each responded to this form of nutrition (no calorie) famine sexes differently.

So let me explain what I 've learned about nutrition and the response of our body and the way I now use that information to lose weight without dieting.

First of all, calories in calories and can not be discounted. It is part of the formula. Calories play a direct role in providing us with energy. But indirectly, calories are also usually accompanied by nutrition in the form of vitamins, minerals and trace elements.

So, generally speaking, when you reduce your calories, you decrease the nutrition that accompanies this. We have to be super careful about it.

It is also important for the amount of calories is the ratio of protein calories to fat and carbohydrates. I'm sure you can imagine that 2000 calories per day person will be another body to consume 15% of their calories as protein as opposed to someone who consumes only 5 % protein.

A super important factor that is often overlooked is the production of hormones. Human growth hormone (HGH) will burn fat, build muscle and strengthen bones. Insulin can block HGH. And cortisol is the sworn enemy of HGH and built fat burning muscle and bone depletes nutrients.

What you eat. Whenever you eat. The amount of fat that you are already running. Your sleeping habits. Your daily stress. And the toxic load on your body are all factors in how your body produces these hormones. What do you do to maximize your potential and reduce your HGH production of cortisol?

Then of course there is the level and type of exercise you undertake and the basal metabolic rate of your body. All these things play a role in your weight loss or weight gain.Consider this a "weight loss is "There are 3,500 calories in a pound of fat. So if you have been maintaining your weight and reduce your daily calorie intake by 500 calories, then one week (7 days x 500 calories = 3500 calories) you burn a pound of fat stored.

This makes perfect sense and seems easy enough.

But what if you replace a 600 calorie, high protein , nutrient-rich breakfast with a 100 calorie soda? What would happen to your insulin level ? your HGH production ? Your basal metabolic rate for the day?

Do you still think that you will lose 5 pounds in a week? I bet you can actually gain weight!Stay tuned. In future articles I will go over each of these loss / weight gain factors one by one. In the end, you should have the knowledge to know how to lose weight without dieting!
