You wake up and eat breakfast now? Do you tend to eat when you are bored, or when other people eat? Well, it can be dangerous to your health, so I want to help you stop these habits!
Most people eat breakfast just because it is the normal thing to do. However, many people claim that they do not necessarily even feel hungry in the morning. Why is that? This is simply because the body does not have need of food, so it does not send the signal to your brain that tells you to eat. To avoid compulsive eating, listen to your body!
If you choose to eat breakfast, just know that it can make you feel groggy and tired most of the morning. Most people were not designed to eat as soon as they wake up. In the morning, the body is still busy digesting the food you ate the day before. To load with more food puts a lot of stress on your digestive system and can lead to low power consumption, among others. So if you want to have more energy in the morning, consider drinking a glass of lemon water instead of going to that bowl of cereal or eggs and bacon! Your body is naturally dehydrated in the morning, even if you're hungry, chances are you're just thirsty. I always recommend that you drink at least 16 ounces of water every morning before eating anything!
Everyone is different, so you may find that you do small room perfectly. This is fine, but if you eat a hearty breakfast, you probably will not need as much food later in the day. The human body can not function on very little food if it is high quality, so do not forget to listen to your body to determine if it is time to eat or not!
The mind and body are separate and the other at the same time. Your mind and tell you to eat your body will react by making you feel hungry. To avoid compulsive eating, it is important to recognize that this is often just a trick of the mind. Your body is a much more accurate device to determine if you need food or not. The next time you find yourself thinking about food, focus your attention on your body and notice how you feel. Do you feel hungry? If not, do not eat until you do. Quite simple.
