A low carb diet is becoming a common song ever in the world. This was made necessary by the increase in lifestyle diseases that affect a larger proportion of our population in the world. The main challenge is to have a good understanding of our nutritional needs and what to buy in our food stores that contain smaller amounts of carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates are an important part of our food, which, after digestion , the final product is glucose as the main source of energy. However, when there is an excessive intake of these types of foods, there is a tendency of the body to develop a crisis to stabilize glucose levels. Therefore it is necessary to know the type of food that will not glucose soar.The objective of the knowledge of the carb is to ensure that all the king of food you take , there is always a slow and steady release of glucose into the blood. Carbohydrate foods high in fiber slows digestion and release glucose.Here is a list of foods most commonly known with levels of low carb.

1. Whole grains.• The unique property makes whole grains become the best carbohydrate sources compared to those refined . When the grains are refined, nutritional value decreases since some essential components are removed and , therefore, when consumed , the release of glucose in the blood takes place very rapidly. 8. Pepper• The pepper contains very little carbohydrates and calories. In addition , they provide much of provitamin A and vitamin C. When the peppers are young and tender , they can be eaten raw in salads , which provide maximum nutritional benefits. In this case, they should be cut into thin slices and chewed well .

9. Spirulina• This microscopic algae is very rich in protein, vitamins and iron, but has virtually no calories. Spirulina contain high quality protein ( 5.9% and 57.5 % fresh seaweed if dehydrated). Vitamins are present B1 , B2 , niacin, E , B12 and folate . They also contain polyunsaturated omega -3 fatty acids.

10. Garcinia• Extracts of this fruit is a natural appetite suppressant ( reducing appetite). They produce a feeling of satiety and help the sugar metabolism, inhibit their conversion into fat.
